足足等待1周時間，NBA總冠軍賽今於勇士主場宣布開打，「娃娃臉刺客」柯瑞挾著強大主場優勢，迎戰「小皇帝」詹姆斯掛帥的騎士，目前超過8成的《ESPN》籃球專家預測，勇士將可奪下暌違40年的總冠軍。

暫拋柯瑞與詹姆斯兩大當今球星對決議題，勇士本季例行賽拿下隊史新高67勝，主場戰績來到誇張的39勝2敗，季後賽主場也只輸給灰熊1次，可見勇士主場優勢明顯程度，柯瑞說：「我們是時候上工了！」

生涯第6次打總冠軍賽的詹姆斯，沒把勇士主場壓力放在心上，「我造訪不少充滿噪音的球場，包含雷霆、塞爾提克、公牛或馬刺主場，甲骨文球場只是其中之一，我不會給自己太多壓力，上場打球就對了。」

相較於柯瑞打高球釋放壓力，詹姆斯選擇看電影《歌喉讚2》放鬆，更對劇中飾演「胖艾咪」的瑞貝威爾森留下深刻印象，威爾森也在推特回應，「感謝詹姆斯支持，你對電影的品味就跟你的球技一樣棒。」

可惜大部分《ESPN》專家並不看好詹姆斯能幫騎士奪下隊史首冠，27人當中有22人看好勇士封王，其中預測勇士5場與7場奪冠各有6人，6場封王10人，5名看好騎士專家，3人預測6場摘冠、2人預估7場。

騎士主控厄文的膝傷未癒，更成騎士「利空」，他坦承無法擺脫疼痛感，卻只能硬上，「這是種調整，有傷就是有傷。」反觀勇士射手克雷湯普生（腦震盪）、替補前鋒史貝茲（大腿）今天可望上場，勇士傷兵警報解除。
